Was there a standard thread pitch for the front bead on English shotguns circa 1883 and does anyone know what it is?

Thanks in advance

Likely BA threads, can you measure the outside diameter? If not, the minor of the hole?

The old bead is still in the hole, I want something a little bigger and was hoping to get the thread pitch so I know what to order

I doubt there was any standardization of bead size threads. Could be what they had on hand and used whatever tap was required. Best way to know is remove it and measure it, then put it back in until the new one comes in.

Why do you want a bigger one?

Over 100 years later, the bead has been worn down and is barely visible
