That old gun is subject to be a bundle of trouble, not saying it is. Very old hammerless. Lots of wear and tear. But it is an A-1 Special with 32" barrels. Desirable in some ways, undesirable in others. A hard one to value. JR

137720 is the last of five guns shown in the Parker Bros. records as "Whit1". See pages 359 to 362 of The Parker Story. On the watertable they are stamped with a "1" above the serial number and an "A" below.
