I just ran across a box of mixed scope rings from the far past in a dark back corner of a shelf and one pair stumped me but I know someone on this site will know what they are. They are 7/8 inch, flip open top (single screw on one side hinge on the other), narrow, shaped like a McDonalds arch. They would sit very low and have opposing pointed set screws to secure them in their mounts and the right side of the rear mount is slightly windage adjustable with a milled edge screw driving the pointed set screw with marked with an arrow and an R. Of course, they are _______.

Bingo! Thank you. Leupold Adjusto-mount rings. They are just like the ones in the ad though, more contoured and rounded, but maybe that is because they are 7/8 inch and probably older.
