Ha I was trying to figure out the same thing Mike. While I retired from the US Navy a few months after you did from the Army as a Machinest Mate have worked with computer systems since 1976 and APL (A Programming Language) back then. And involved in Bulletin Board Software since it first came out. And am now the Technical Specialist for the Electronic Content Management Systems (ECMS) at the number one ranked hospital in the US if not the world based on the tailfins of the planes that land at the international airport South of town. This is much like IBM software- yesterdays technology at twice the price. Except I don't pay so not going to complain about it. Too much, but yeah buggy as that person the lady from 2020 is dating in those commercials. Most of us expect a certainly level of consistently and normalcy on any BBS. Usually I would go under Edit user profile but with this upgrade can only select select pre determined Avatars. Thinking the Admin has his hands full after the upgrade. Which is normal for most upgrades to varying degrees. I can't even use the Return Key to start a new paragraph though, ugh major fail. All more reasons for moving from Sys Admin to Tech Spec, which means the users can't find you because you are the guy in the basement that no one talks to except for the Sys Admins when they can't figure it out. Hopefully the Admin will get it taken care of.

The Avatar function is currently on and available...
However, the new SW version requires a different storage path and some other configuration settlings that did not exist in the old version.
I will see about getting it up and running over the next day or so.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I think I have this working now so you could download and use your own avatar via your profile page.
Parameters:
Max size 512kb
Physical max 80x80 pixels
No porn...etc.
Thank you.

Testing, testing... I like it. But some of the Biden voters will almost certainly cry about it.
A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

Dave,
It appears the forum s/w will adjust the size of the file. At least for me it did.
