I'm not demanding anything, SJ. Just seems reasonable to me that someone with such strong opinions on something would have considered what might be better. Guess I was wrong. Would you vote for a politician that thought like that? Not me.

JMO, but for someone who doesn't participate in registered competition, and is only interested in having a "reasonable skill level", premium shells are wasted. But, if you think maybe it gains you one target per 100, and it's that important to you, who am I to suggest otherwise?

It helps at trap, even informal trap.

I actually am an AA class level trapshooter and it's the only game I always use the same gun for.

This comes from starting out as a trapshooter and I try to keep my score level up. Part of that mindset hasn't left me. I just don't shoot trap every week now.

Problem is of most our trapshooters here have passed on and we have no kids taking this up. Fewer guys to shoot with means less fun, and I'm not traveling just to shoot trap. I've done it.

What the he-- does it matter what you use, what shells, gear, etc that you use as long as you are having fun? I see no point in knocking someone because they might use discount city shells and shoot them through a "lesser" sxs. I'm not going to judge you, but if I think I have some reasonable info I will gladly pass it on. I've had issues with almost all brands of ammo which you folks have highlighted in one or more of my guns. But guess what, if I'm enjoying myself "What difference does it Make?"! Lighten up people!!
