When I was chasing spectres a few years back, in this particular case a true English hammer 12 ga. pigeon gun, I talked with Cyril at length about it. He offered me an English gun of his that he had gotten sleeved from 10 to 12. It was a gorgeous thing, but not exactly what I wanted, and I passed.

His book was purchased directly from him, by me. Not sure if a means is in place to buy it now, but maybe in the future it will become available again. I wouldn't take a purty for mine.
