I refinished the Damascus barrels on a beautiful top lever hammer gun by H Barella several years ago...It had beautiful deeply cut and perfectly executed scroll work...reminded me of the work you see on high end Daly hammer guns.
Later I learned the fellow sold it, and Ive been searching for its whereabouts ever since
Would love to find it some day...
The taste of poor quality lingers long after the cheap price is forgotten.........
