My beautiful, wonderful, loving Mom went to be with her Savior today at 97. Just thought I would let you guys, my friends, know. Thanks for indulging me with this post, guys.

Sorry to hear that Mr Roberts! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. It's tough to lose a parent.

My 93 year old father passed in February and it's tough to reconcile at times. When visiting my mom, in the course of my conversation with her, I still find myself referring to both of them occasionally, as if he were sitting at his usual spot at the table or in his easy chair in the living room.

What a long, interesting, blessed, and wonderful life. Your Mother saw so many changes, and lived in good times.
My deepest sympathy and condolences, John.

Sorry for your loss. I miss my late father every day. I still have a recorded message on my phone answering machine. Copied it onto a couple other devises but can not bring myself to delete it. Silly I know but hearing his voice is a comfort sometimes. What I would give for just one more conversation with him. God bless you in this time and comfort you as well.

It requires no indulgence to be able to grieve with a friend, and lift them up in prayer. May you and Judy feel the presence of the Lord as you find your own ways of saying "So long". It isn't "Goodbye", as you both know, only "Farewell for now". It is so much easier to go through this when you know the eternal destiny of the loved one is secured in Jesus.

You are in my prayers tonight, tomorrow, and in succeeding days.

God bless you, SRH

John,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Fortunately, the bond between a mother and son can never be broken even through such a loss.

Tough duty, John. Something to get past, never over. Prayers for you and yours.
