I agree.
The only disagreement we may have is the current and future constitutional cost
American's may suffer, and how todays president may give scary gun abolishing powers to a future democratic/socialist president.

Actually, four democrat senators voted with republicans in committee to reject the �assault� weapons and hi-cap magazine ban. Our governors anti-2A slate of legislation has only been partially successful because a small group of democrats have not swallowed his agenda hook line and sinker. These legislators heard the voices of 22,000 (some heavily armed) citizens who showed up at the Capitol to support all things 2A

I thought seven of eight antigun bills went forward, and this 'assault' bill was only tabled for a year? I saw an interview with one of the four dems, interesting. He said his mind was made up regardless of input from his constituents. And, he said the only part of the bill that he objected to was that criminality for possession of legally obtained arms was retro active. All that seems to mean is that the rest of the progressives have one year to buy his vote, when this and certainly more anti second bills are introduced in Virginia.

Notes are being taken and strategies are being drawn up for taking biggger and bigger national increments based on these test cases.

If you are right, and the situation in VA progresses to deflagration, Argo44 may well be right, and revolt may result.

We were motivated far before the "dals" came along. It happened in the 1770s. Your importance is more in your own mind than in the minds of the right "right".

Seriously??? Perhaps you really never saw or heard any of us discussing the many Executive Orders Barack Hussein Obama signed to circumvent what he could not get past Congress. A number of those Executive Orders were signed to impose restrictions on the Constitutional Gun Rights of law abiding U.S. Citizens. And at the same time, non-citizens who were illegally crossing the border by the millions were given a pass, and given freebies like Welfare, Food Stamps, Education, and Health Care, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayers.



And you say you are concerned about what some future Democrat/Socialist President might do to restrict the 2nd Amendment. Holy crap man... are you thinking at all? The Heller and McDonald Supreme Court decisions of 2008 and 2010 affirming the Individual Right to Keep and Bear Arms both passed by a 5 to 4 margin. So how do you think we would fare for years to come if a Hillary, Biden, Sanders, or Bloomberg got the chance to seat a few more anti-2nd Amendment Justices?

I was NOT making a statement about YOUR importance, rather dal's (lack of, on this board). Your contributions have always been appreciated by me. My post above was directed to him, not you.
