Loaded 4 test rounds for my 16 bore pinfire. Wanted to make sure that the process ends in rounds that go boom. All worked so I'll load more in a few days. These were with magtech brass. Going to try the same process on some all plastic hulls that I was given by some members. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXUgmYmxiVg

I was a bit leery of her. Everything looked good but it's got to be 150 years old after all. lol

Mike, has the little part I sent you arrived yet?

Interested to know how you solved the Magtech problems with the thin base. Lagopus…..

Yes i got it. Thanks a lot. really appreciate you sending it. Going to make up some more off your pattern and try 25 more magtech hulls. What is the problem with Magtech's thin base? I just drilled the primer pocket where it sticks out into the hull until the inside is flat and epoxied a 5/8" thin brass disc to cover the old primer hole. I haven't fired many as of yet but no leaks or problems yet.

Thanks Mike. I'd be interested in exact details of your Magtech conversion method. If you could e-mail me with full explanation I would be very grateful. Thanks. Lagopus…..

I'm very interested also. Have been looking for a pin fire for a little while now.

Thanks,

Lot's of us would like the details. Can you post them on the forum rather than privately?
