Unless I've been auction sniped sometimes it's a relief to finish 2nd as in "what was I thinking?". Of course gunbroker has the 15 minute rule and the hammer fall can take a lot longer than the stated original end time. Gil

Damn it John. I was just starting to feel a little better and you had put this in my face again. Thats the one. I guess it wasnt meant to be. I am blessed that I have three I never thought I would. I do enjoy them , a Merkel, LC Smith, and a Parker.

Actually ,Im going back in the shop to teach two periods of woodworking and wanted a project to practice my skills on after school .I never meant to imply it was a Purdy or collector grade gun.
