The late Bill Curry and I had our 32 ga Poli shotguns proofed for 70mm-2 3/4" 32 gauge. I have my proof house certificate.
I don't know how many 2 3/4" 32 gauges there are in the US, other than these 2 guns.

I have heard that there is ammo in 2 3/4" 32ga in Italy. I thought it would be fun to have brass hulls made up. 32 is about 50 cal.

Imagine a 2 3/4" 32 ga brass hull with a big wad of lead on top of a full case of 4F. It might act like an old British black powder express cartridge. I may yet get around to this.

All Best,

Joe

PS The 24 ga Bayard barrels went on a 28 ga gun. Kirk Merrington did the grafting. The 32 ga found a different home.

Good afternoon skeettx. If John the gun dealer really wanted to have a discussion about the obscure and seldom seen 24 and 32 gauge guns, he could have done so. But as Geo noted in post #2 in this thread, it was evident that John was Trolling to start a shit-storm.

Did you think to confront Geo to note that his observation had nothing to do with 24 or 32 gauge doubles? Why no, you certainly did not.

I'm sure that was just an oversight on your part. Or maybe we'll see you starting a thread to join DrBob and BrentD in calling for a financial boycott of this forum???

By the way, I noticed that you removed your NRA Benefactor member seal that you had as part of your tag-line. That is refreshing to see. It is apparent that you find it more important to bow down to the anti-gun trolls and FUDD's here than it is to support gun rights by actually doing more than wearing an NRA hat or lapel pin.

Thanks for confronting me. I hope you got what you were looking for.

Not saying you're one of the free loading gun dealers...but you are running an advertisement in your signature line.

You missed the question John...

Or, it looks like John has taken the Fifth- As others who tread the deckboards here on the DGS ship of State have noticed, Joseph, your grammar sounds a bit like a Jeff Foxworthy comedy sketch, with some Stanley Kubrick overtones..

If John has taken the Fifth- I hope he had the good sense to get a good bourbon-a splash of branch water, and a few ice cubes, and all is well with the World, indeed. RWTF

Joe, if you are considering brass cases I wouldn't hesitate in getting them while you can. Rocky Mountain Cartridge has been for sale for about a year and they offer brass 32 ga. cases in 2.5" and they have the reloading kit as well. They also make custom cases and probably would be willing and able to make 2.75". Gil
