Anyone know? I picked up a little model 100 20 gauge to use as a rainy day back up gun and the old factory Raybar just strikes me as being a tad hideous looking.

Thanks all. I'm hoping I have an Ivory bead in the parts box threaded that way.

I like the Bradley bead on modern guns.

Thanks. Will also check out the Bradley'. They look similar to what you used to see on the Winchester model 23.

I like the Bradley white bead ok, but I prefer a simple small silver or brass bead.

I love ivory beads up front, and I'm fine with mid beads being either a smaller ivory, or silver................much smaller actually. It's not that ivory helps my shooting, it doesn't. But, ivory looks really nice to me, and it certainly does not detract from my shooting. Win/win.

But, if a vintage gun was originally fitted with a brass or silver colored bead, that's cool, too. No big deal. I have warmed up to the Raybar on my 20 ga. Ithaca SKB 200E 20 ga. a little, only because it is original to the gun. Heck, it has white line spacers so why should I get jacked up over a big pink front sight?

I will say that when I first got the gun I wanted that Raybar gone, said so on here, and Walt Snyder quickly offered to buy it if I replaced it. That got me to thinking about it a little more and I decided to leave the gun completely original. Dead doves and quail don't seem to know the difference.

Silver, brass or white - all better than that big gob o a Raybar to me. White line spacers would be gone too, as they were the first thing gone from my 1960s AyA 16 gauge.
No disrespect to your choice on your gun.
