I picked up an SC Parker last week that needs a lot of TLC. While cleaning massive amounts of plastic out of the forceing cone I noted that the forceing cone was very steep and the chamber looks short. Did Parker use a 2.75 chamber or did they stick with the 2.625 short chamber on single trap guns?

Early Parker single traps were the same as Parker double guns. They were originally chambered for 2 5/8" shells. The actual chambers may have been shorter than 2 5/8" by an eighth. Come on, Bill, "Looks short" is not gun collector terminology.
