The Flint Hills are beautiful country but I've never seen Easterns there like you said.

Thanks for all of the replies. I was able to book a 3 day guided hunt in MO for 2 birds. The nice benefit is I'm also curious about their muzzleloading deer hunts so this will give me a chance to check them out.

Feel free to offer more options as I would like to hunt in some different states next year.

Ive hunted the flint hills in Wabaunsee county 5-6 times and all we kill are eastern. I killed One Rio on our last trip and maybe one hybrid the first trip.

Oh no.
I have killed more than 30 Easterns in Chase county,KS dead smack in the Flint Hills.
They are at pest levels there.
