I've posted a few pics of the aforementioned Churchill after I got it back from Ken Eversull in Louisiana for rejointing work. I can't recommend him highly enough,as this gun is as tight and smooth as it was in 1911 right out of the box. These Churchills, particularly the early guns, have fantastic fitting and engraving work. the engraving is by Jack Sumner.I'm still trying to get info on who this gun was built for, but to no avail so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sandlapper

Wonderful little gun. Is the engraving work signed by Sumner?

LeFusil, No, I don't think so, but Don Masters talks about all the early guns before Robert Churchill took over after E.J.Churchill's death, were engraved by Sumner, plus the engraving looks exactly like the early guns pictured. Sandlapper
