I need to remove the trigger guard to bend the stock. I have the butt plate off and see no way to remove the guard. Can someone advise me how to do it?

You have to remove the through bolt (3/16 allen)and pull off the stock. Then you can remove guard. HTH, Robert

I was afraid of that. I do have the long allen wrench. i hope it does not snap. Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

What will I be looking at or will it be obvious?

It's obvious once you pull the stock, Its been a while, but I seem to recall a rollpin. To remove the through bolt I visited the hardware store and got a 3/8 drive, 3/16 bit, and used a 3/8 extension and handle. It takes a good bit of torque to break loose, and to pull the stock back into place when reinstalling.
