I'm on the fence on this one. Its just if I get it, adding bailey thin wall chokes would make it cost prohibitive.

Expensive yes but Webley & Scott only ever made just one Model 700 in .410. I guess if it was the only Parker, Fox or L.C.Smith in .410 it would sell at a very high price. Difficult to price here as there is nothing to compare against but I doubt it would fetch much above 3,000 here. Maybe someone else from the U.K. may differ on that but that's just my opinion. One of a kind does not mean price it whatever you want. And over here W&S are shooters not that collectable. If it were the only Browning, Winchester, Parker one of a kind you could get competing bidders run up the price at auction. That has to be a consignment gun trolling for a sucker.
I was put off by the 3% charge to use my credit card. Hard to build up miles if you have to pay 3% extra.

That seller has been nuts on pricing for the last 15 years, on just about everything he lists.

Yes, I believe it is the only .410 ever made in the 700 series. Probably a $7,000 gun in the US. Maybe a tad more. Twenty eight gauges in 701 grade have no difficulty bringing $5,500 to $6,500.

If it were on a 28ga frame, that would be a nice double if such a creature existed
