Woodsman, Before you order one, you might check with John Bugden, Murray, KY. John handcrafts gun slips that are exact copies of the English gun slips and with no import. I have one of his and it's just gotten better with age, and I bought it fron him in 1999. I like the canvas/leather personally. He may be at the Southern next weekend, but he's kind of a victim of his own quality - not selling as much at the Southern anymore because his stuff doesn't wear out.
