I missed this when it came out several weeks ago, about Scalia being a member of the St. Hubertus society. Scalia Regardless of how the nomination process proceeds for his replacement, it is hard to image they will find another justice who could or would be more sympathetic to the interests of those who post here.
Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.

I'd guess that one of the candidates in the primaries, who's argued in front of the high court, might have a better than fair chance of a solid nomination. Still, the justice is irreplaceable.
