Does anyone know where to buy parts for Bausch & Lomb binoculars, Zephyer model. I don't know what has happened to their binocular business. Thanks in advance for any help.

contact Land Sea & Sky in Houston Texas; they repair binoculars as well as sell top quality optics. I've had 3 pair of binos cleaned and refurbished there.

Their work is first class and I thought very reasonable.

Bausch & Lomb is now Bushnell. The best Bausch & Lomb binoculars were Japanese 'Elite' series. FMC, wide FOV along with long eye relief and excellent sharpness to edge of FOV. Do yourself a favor forget the Zephyr and treat yourself to new pair of binoculars.

Bausch and Lomb was sold to a Canadian Pharmaceutical firm a few years ago

The quality of newer mid-range optics is surprisingly good when compared to that of older higher end optics. I would second Jagermeister's advice.

Jag, I've 7 X 35 Zephyrs on my desk for observing ducks, geese, eagles and seals in our harbour. Working great for that purpose for 40 years, no complaints. For the blind, my 6 X 35 Watson-Bakers of Welwyn Garden City, Herts which I bought during my first job in the wage economy nearly 65 years ago are still a pleasure. Old optics serve general purposes as well as the new, in my opinion.

The sport optic business of Bausch and Lomb was absorbed into the Bushnell name. They were the same company for some time and maintained both names, but a handful of years ago all the B&L sport optics were renamed under the Bushnell brand. Their headquarters are in Kansas City.
