bobski, if you find a vent rib on an Ithaca Lfever Model 6 it is after market. Like Walt said, buy the book. It is out of print but available,on Amazon.

rick...dg-bbs is the book in my opinion. ;> if all i wanted to do was read, id go to a library. the internet makes for good interaction. thanks.

bobski...Depends whether they are short ribs or long ribs. I would recommend Facebook and Twitter. They should give you the Internet interaction you are seeking.

no, i like it here. but thanks anyway. youre more than welcome to go there if youd like. im on too many websites as it is. no need to start some new ones. heck i even have my own. but, tell ya what...since its still christmas season, i would be more than willing to receive that book as a gift from you. and i'd even send you a range pass to my private shooting range for 10 games in return. who knows, it might be the start of a great friendship.

NO.
Ithaca lefever doubles were offered for a time with vent ribs. Called the model 4. But it was not an A grade.
Refer to Researchers post on page 3 for this info.
