I have been playing with this in my spare time the last few years. Stock is a Dubiel for a mex mauser that I picked up on the internet. A friend provided a mex mauser action. I had an old Lyman 48 laying around. Bolt handle is one I picked up from one of the instructors while out at Trinidad last year. A friend welded it on and I cleaned it up and tried to checker it. The barrel I turned from a SS .25 cal 1-10 twist blank I had laying around the shop. Front sight is a old Lyman from my box of junk. Barrel band is one of our new ones that we are making at the shop. Still need to chamber the barrel, do something about that white line pad, work over the trigger guard, and then decide on a finish. Probably rust blue the CM parts and have the SS barrel hot blued. Salts are available now that do a very good job on stainless barrels. Should make a fine birthday present for Ben in a couple years.
