The E.C. Crossman obit question has come up since that March 2008 thread. It was in the March 1939 issue of The American Rifleman --

I know I've posted this a couple of times.

Shot 50 rounds at sporting clays today. I really think I can get into this gun. Off to Gunter's soon for a strip and clean. It did double twice--who knows when it was last serviced?? It is a 12 gauge with 30 inch barrels BTW.

Walt, that is a fine gun. Also, I wish everyone could take photos as well as you do.

Walt,
Beautiful gun. If the gun doubles, I highly recommend Dan May, Classic Gunstocks Inc/Miller Trigger. Dan rebuilt my original Ithaca Miller design trigger. ~1000 firings, no problems.
