Each stock is different not likely any will fit out of the box Best cut down a 2 frame plate. Can't stretch a 1

No offense here but Boats clearly does not know Parker plates all that well.

A 2 frame plate cannot be fitted down properly to fit a smaller stock. Or else you loose your solid border in the toe area.

For a 1-1/2 frame stock, the Number 1 plate is used. This is the one that has the dog with bird in mouth.

I agree with Dudley, I have owned many 1 1/2 frame Parkers, all that had HRBPs were #1 plates. Why not measure your butt, #1 plates are around 5" in length, there are some variations, later guns did not use the spur on the plate and I seem to recall that guns made by Remington did not have brothers underneath the dog

Brian you have done many, me only a few. Not doubting your word .

Looking at my two # 1 Parkers beside my 1 1/2 Plates look to be too small to fit it . # 2s I own are larger in the butt for sure.

What are the chances of buying a plate that will screw on with no fitting. Don't you always go too big then fit ?

The change to Parker using no spur on the plates was in the mid 1920s.

There is no in-between size on Parker plates. Just 1 and 2.

If your butt is some odd size, it may not be original.
