I have had my Bernardelli Gamecock DeLuxe 20 gauge for many years now and have yet to have a failure of any kind. The articulated trigger is nice, but, not needed in m opinion. Choked I/C & MOD it is very deadly on the Pheasants with copper plated #5 shot. I have always gotten a lot of flak from guys I hunt with carrying a little boys gun. I periodically will loan it out to someone in the group and they always want to buy it for some reason.
Maybe advancing age and weakening muscles? It handles wonderfully! I still have it.
