Sorry, not a custom, just scarce (256 made).
The gun is a #1AB with a 24" lightweight barrel, no sights and a heavy beavertail forearm. They were made in error. The calibre is 25-06.
In 2006 Lipsey's (one of the exclusive dealers Ruger occasionally does special limited runs with)ordered some #1 AH guns with the usual Henry forearm, but Ruger made up these in error.
Has anyone here any experience actually shooting one of these? My concern is how the gun will balance, especially once the additional weight of a scope is added. I just can't imagine how stable or whippy that lightweight barrel would be.
ANY help would be appreciated. Many Thanks
