I've netted a big goose-egg in an attempt to locate some info on a concern by the name of Internationale Waffen Hamburg as seen in the images of the sides & floorplate of this combo, which someone kindly forwarded to me. Anyone think F.W. Keler might have had such a retail outlet in Hamburg by that name?      Kind Regards, Raimey rse

It reminds me of Greifeldt(?), or a later Emil Kerner & Sohns I have.

Yeah, sort of Ford. Did Greifelt/Greifeldt of Suhl have a sidelock with similar pin configuration?? Merkel also comes to mind & I wonder if they had an outlet in Hamburg. There are a couple examples I've seen with the name Internationale Waffen Haumburg & one was give as a Merkel. So the concern sourced the whole of Suhl depending on their needs.

AFAIK "Internationale Waffen Hamburg" was one of the many trade names of A.Frank, Hamburg, just like Alfa, Hindu, WUM and so on. Would really like to see a photo of the proofmarks to learn where, Suhl, Zella-Mehlis or Liege, and by whom this gun was made for Frank.

If I had the images of the marks Axel, you'd have them. The sporting weapon is somewhere in Britain. The few offerings I've seen of Internationale Waffen Hamburg seem to be a rung or 2 higher than those of A. Frank, Hamburg.
