Dewey, Good to see you couldn't stay away! You have TOO much talent to hide under a basket. I know that someone with skills like you can get easily overwhelmed by work and I hope our readers would take that into account when asking for work.
I'll look forward to the rest of the story.
Happy Holidays to all.

"Get your files ready for another articulated trigger. I hope it won't interrupt the wood fitting on the Becker Fox. Bill Murphy"

Mr. Bill do you have a Becker Fox in line for new wood and now a articulated trigger?

I don't really care for it, but it is certainly innovative and well executed. It's just a little too Rube Goldberg-ish for me. That joint area is just as much a part of a Fox double as the top lever or trigger guard, to me. But you know I still love you, Dewey.

The metalwork on the frame is just about done. The joint cover is finished and the floorplate screw is hidden. I'll finish making the triggerguard and then it's time to stock it.

KYjon, my "Becker Fox" is actually a "Becker Style" Fox, an early A built by Dewey Vicknair. It is at the stocker's now, will be sent back to Dewey for the articulated trigger. In my opinion, my project Fox is Dewey's best effort at metal sculpting and fitting so far. Bill Murphy
