I can't shoot any birds for about 2 weeks here in central PA, but I am getting antsy. I was messing around with last years pictures and I think this came out pretty neat. If only it was a recognizable vintage double (it is an Uggie). This was just before my son's eleventh birthday. I love that ^%$@#ty grin. CHAZ

Good job with the browning. Looks exactly Like my son at that same age with the same grin. You don't see that grin on many young men today!

by central pa, do you mean anywhere around bradford county? have fond memories of the late eighties and nineties grouse hunting south of wyalusing in the delaware river valley. dem were de days. best one was in mid october, with three hunters and two dogs...44 flushes. 18 shots fired...no dead birds. what a day!

My uncle used to have a fishing cabin in Wyalusing, and I pass through there on the way to the Great Northeastern every year. beautiful country. I don't imagine I have seen 44 grouse flushes in my life.
