From 1963 1996 Beretta produced SxS boxlocks built on their own proprietary action, retaining elements of Anson & Deeley, but incorporating their own improvements and design concepts. Examples include the 426E, GR-4, and 626E. These are great guns from a reliability and handling standpoint. Our January newsletter will present a complete review of these Berettas, with a lot of detail explaining their finer points.
