Oh my gosh, someone likes my answer. I'm going to have to call an engraver to record the occasion. But seriously, the Galazan leather covered pad on my Inverness is the best leather covered pad I have ever owned, and I have owned some good ones and I have seen Purdey pads that were about the same as Tony's. If mine weren't the right length, I would find another solution than spacers.

The gun is a finished piece with an adjustable trigger and a straight stock. IMO moving the trigger adjusts for the size
of the hand and length of the fingers and does not effect the distance from the hand to the butt which is the real LOP and which is then dependent upon the weight and balance of the gun.

Eightbore,,,I feel I will be laughed at for my LOK (lack of knowledge) :), but what is LTS.?..length
to shoulder?...I could think of other more colourfull ones ,given time

I have to admit that my brain does not compute LTS. It could have been an attempt at humor that only lasted a few minutes in my memory. My over the top Inverness took exactly 18 months from order to my mailbox. That reminds me that I am way behind in sending a thank you note to Tony and Lou.

No, I never thought that CSMC took too long to ship the Inverness. Most other customers who comment on internet sites aren't too concerned with shipping times either.
