In the old version of the board software you could disable the ratings. I wish you could in this version. It has become a joke that takes away from the spirit of helpfulness. Board participants are not rated by other members based on how helpful they have been or the quality of their answers. Instead it is some kind of vindictive game. In the previous version, If someone was helpful, I would give them a five rating, the highest. If someone was not helpful or just plain stirring the pot, I would refrain from asigning a rating. I think most other members worked the same way. Now, somone has decided to play games with the ratings so that they don't mean anything. How Bob Blair or Geno, just to name a couple, could have lower than a five rating is ridiculous.
