The Denver collectors show is always a treat. On Sunday, a rumor spread. It was rumored that Mr Perazzi had brought some of his guns from Italy for the show. He got a taxi, put his cased guns in and as the taxi drivers are encouraged by the mayor to report suspicious "terrorists", the Italian who spoke English with an accent was stopped by police & FBI and had guns confiscated and he was reportedly deported. Now maybe all this was someone's idea to spicen a slow day. Anyone hear anything?

FAKE PRESS RELEASE from Perazzi S.p.A. Daniele Perazzi (founder of Perazzi SpA) died last year, and his son Mauro was not in the United States last Saturday. The Perazzis are not involved in any wrongdoing in any way, shape or form and, to our best knowledge, are not under investigation or scrutiny nor are targets of criminal proceedings. It's not even August yet, and that story has my vote for whackiest internet rumor of the year. Unless, of course, Sig. Perazzi has indeed risen from the Dead, and the Second Coming has indeed occurred in Denver, Colorado, and the New Messiah is a jihadisti. In which case, we've got bigger problems that the pros and cons of case color jobs. If that's all true, maybe God isn't on Our Side. Oh well, as the saying goes, Allah Akbar!
