Received my copy of Wal Winfer and Tom Rowe's newest book on British Single Shot Rifles - Vol.8. This is Vol.2 of Rook and Miniature Rifles. This one covers later era Rook rifles (hammerless) and other loading information. Another well done book as usual, available thru Mowbray's in RI.

I'll get my copy from Tom at the Baltimore show in a few days. The next book in the series is what Wal is calling swinging block rifles which will include Sniders, Martinis, Sopers, etc.
