This is sort of a shot in the dark, but are there any decent books/guides to collecting British (and/or European) firearms accessories? Especially from the 19th Century? Essentially I'm interesting in learning more about all the accouterments that used to come in the case with these fine rifles.

A good starting point is the G.&J.W. Hawksley and the James Dixon catalogues covering all kinds of Rifle,Gun & Revolver Implements.
Copies of their pre, 1900 catalogues can be obtained from;
www.cornellpubs.com
Many period gunmakers catalogues also include information on implements and gun cases,sold in support of their guns/rifles.
