I have two of them, but they're too special to me to be working guns. The grand ladies are show and tell only.grin

Up until recently, my go to has been a Lefever 16, but my Marechal 16 won me over and now has the starting job. I'm sending it off to Kearcher next week for a rib relay and bore polish, then off to Mike Orlen to have permanent choke sleeves soldered in. It used to be someone's slug gun in Europe, with a notched rear sight brazed on that I had to file down. 29" krupp barrels with quadruple nitro proofs, 5.9lbs, sling, just a feather weight wand that is a delight to carry and use.

Mine is nothing compared to what has been posted so far, but for me, it is the one.

A 1969 12 gauge Ugartechea made by Ignacio himself I'm told. 27" barrels choked IC/IM.

I just had the internals gone over by Cole Haugh and am in the process of refinishing the stock. Maybe next year I can post some photos of it all dolled up.

Dad's old stevens 311, he put an oil finish on the stock back in the 60's. It's old enough to have had a decent piece of fence post for wood.

Never could hit anything with it as it 1) didn't fit and 2) is choked tight and tighter. Problems solved with a slip on recoil pad - more lop - more drop - more birds drop. Load the right bbl with spread-r loads and even more birds drop.

Hey, nice to see another Uggy out there doing the work. I have a 1972 Falcon, built by who knows who, but, pretty dang nice for a walk in the woods. Mine has been solid, but, I'm all done telling people how good a gun it was for $400. Plenty of people haven't had my experience.
Cole went through mine, too.

Best,
Ted
