Has anyone taken delivery of a Connecticut Inverness yet?

Not me, and I ordered in mid-January.

Last I heard they were supposed to stat delivering in October

Steve Barnett told me a couple of weeks after his cardiac problems he would not be attending any shows until after December. He may have changed his plans.

I think others have covered this pretty well, but want to add my two cents.

I've been to the Vintage Cup and the Spring Southern several times and truly enjoyed them. Last year was my first trip to the Fall Southern. I had a blast. It is a much more intimate event than the other two larger events, and it feels that way. While there will be plenty of nice guns to look at, plenty, this event is more about the shooting.

I was also able to take part in the tower shoot last year, which was a lot of fun (I had never done that before), and I was able to go on a morning quail hunt on Sunday.

I'm coming back this year and recommend the event. Bring ammo. Go shoot.

Bill Kempfert and Rick Hemingway established this event with growth in mind. Support it and it will grow. The targets are superior, the venue is large and varied.

The tower pheasant shoot has been reduced in price to $250 per gun. Great value for a 300 bird shoot limited to 22 guns. This will be Friday morning. I spoke to John at the club today and this shoot will go even if they are short guns- so if you are attending and this is of interest consider the shoot.

I only have one thing to say. I will be there. A further "sub thing to say" is that I will have Hawaiian shirts in my bag in case Steve is not there. I have worn Hawaiian shirts in Steve's absence before, and I will do it this time.
