Good Evening - I sent a PM to a fairly new member who mentioned getting the records for his swanky Henry double rifle. I have wanted to get the records for my Henry double rifle for some time now, but to no avail.

I asked him how he obtained his, where and/or to whom did he address his inquiry. He's been mum on the answer, aloof or afraid.... I have no real sense of which.

So tonight I'm on bended knee, screaming the blues to one and all who frequent this illustrious website, those kind souls who are always fired up with a good dose of moxie and REAL knowledge, knowledge that is eagerly and selflessly shared.

Brothers, can you help me? Where can I get the straight dope on this .450 3 1/4 BPE percussion from Edinburgh by way of "Injia's sunny clime"?

Yeah,Happy Birthday. When you call ask for Gary MacPhearson. He seemed more helpfull than others in interpreting the Henry entries. Dating the early guns is not easy and takes a bit of effort and an educated guess.

Sent you a PM, didn't realize you had sent me one. PM me the serial number and I will look at my records to see if I have a page on that rifle. I have about 10 pages of records collected over the years. John at Dicksons has always been helpful.
