There is a 70 on each barrel. The DRGM is 409728. There is no ESHA that I can find.

Rookhawk
You are exactly correct in the function of the small lever.

Thanks for all the help. Anyone want to venture an estimate as to what it might be worth?

I'd say it would fetch what the average ole Blitz action drilling would, possibly a bit more. Can you pleasure us with an image of the selector lever atop the top tang? I think D.R.G.M. might be for the addition for what the small screws in the sides of the frame holds.

Kind Regards,

The Boys Uhlig must have heavily sourced the mechanics in the Zella-Mehlis area. From this example it appears that they sourced the craftsmen in Liege and then had the the Zella-Mehlis fellas to finish it to the customer's whims. The reason for the Liege sourcing may be that the firm may have been on the last knot of their financial rope. With a couple years of this 1921 Z-M proof date, I believe the concern went into receivership.

Note powder & shot charge along with the January 1921 proof date and 188 ledger number.

I assume the mechanic represented by the encircled AG to be Belgian?
