Can you please provide more details of the rifle featured here in? You may have previously done so and if yes do you still have a link to that thread? Or a search word would assist. Thanks

Lynn,

Although it has many non-typical Griffin & Howe characteristics that is who I have attributed the rifle to.

The checkering, stock shaping, barrel band sling swivel and the Schnabel horn forend tip are consistent with other G&H's.

What is not is the original barrel and front sight, very short forend and the open pistol grip.

Until some new or better info comes along that where I am on it.

Boil the pad in some weak coffee and then let it air dry. Then some linseed oil. Works for the other pads I have seen.

Thanks, the first thing I always do when I receive a rifle is to remove the sling. I tag and bag it but no slings allowed in the gun room around other rifles.
