OK, find me another like it at what you consider a 'fair price'. The last one I bought for a client was at Holt's and it cost him 40,000 by the time all the expenses were done with. He spent another 1,800 on re-finishing and adjustment. Now he has to get it over to the US. Mine is ready now, cased, fully refurbished and available in the US immediately. Shall I make out the invoice to Mr Eightbore or will Mrs Eightbore be buying it for a belated Valentines day gift?

Dig,
That is a crackin 20 bore O/U on your site, be interesting to know who had a hand in making it at the time. Nelson, Chapman, Weiss, O'Brian, Trevallian come to mind. I am surprised its not gone already --in light of the dearth of Peterson guns on the market, I suppose there is a lot to choose from out there

I only got it ready for sale about ten days ago.
It was made 1959.
I may get down to South Audley Street and dig out the books if I have time.

Both types shown here are the business end of the barrels: Both have their innate charms, but the Woodward/Purdey type action is bloody hell to put together consitantly after cleaning to keep from scarring the barrels, the Boss bareels drop right down and in, anyone can do it with their eyes closed. If I had a choice of any gun to enter the afterlife with, it would be the Boss --hands down. John Robertson and Bob Henderson were two of the finest gunmakers that ever lived, plus its dead sexy!! CW thank you for the photo, it makes things clearer you would not by chance pictures of the rockers to see as the difference thank you in advance

Have a look on the Latest News page, then click on 'From the Workshop' and you can see another 20-bore Purdey I just re-finished for a client in the US. That one came up well too! http://linktosite.co.uk/news/from-the-workshop
