This looks like a big show. I live in central MD. Would it be worth the trip if I was browsing for side by sides? I'm not looking for anything in particular, just beating back the bird hunting withdrawl....

If there was anything good there, Eightbore would have bought it during set up!!

A number of side by sides but not many high end guns.
The show is a zoo. Dealers tell me the highest turnout in its history, but most of the action is not around the side by sides.

We had a good time, but, sure enough, most of the attendees did not know or love side by sides. Oh, well. Many of our side by side friends were in attendance, however, and we had many pleasant visits.

I've been to the show about ten times (including today). Some of the same guns are on the tables that were there 5 years ago. Not quite sure how they can hang onto inventory forever. I'd say the biggest thing still is the black guns and loads of ammo (for the black guns).

I go to the show about once a year. Renew my NRA membership and get in free. Seems like a decent deal all around.

PS. At least I got to swap some stories with eightbore and talk about a certain 28 gauge CHE parker on a nearby table.
