On ebay, another fox sterlingworth with a cracked frame, or maybe the same one that was posted before.

I learn something every day, and a lot of times it's that what I learned the day before was wrong

I thought the other one had the crack on the right side. Gordon

Looking at the crack I don't see how it could've happened from firing.

This is an interesting pile of junk! The right barrel is blown and the crack is on the left side of the action. The crack is very similar as to where it is at and how it cracked to the other Fox that was mentioned a few months back.

Looks like it might've been used as a pry bar.

"would make a nice addition to someones collection"

What kind of collection might that be?

Here is the one that was on eBay earlier this year.

It appears that the crack is in the same place, but the other side.

The earlier one was #123458. They said it happened while shooting Remington #4 high brass.

Sidelocks sometimes develop cracks in their stocks, but have stronger action bars. Boxlocks have stronger stocks, but sometimes crack across the action bar. Take your pick.
