For those who had attended, is the Tulsa gun show worth while for double guns, etc?

Felix, the Tulsa show is huge and has a lot for everyone. Fortunately, it is not full of black guns. For the double gun enthusiast there's always a great selection. A number of major dealers will be there with their wares. I also used to attend the Vegas show but gave it up in favor of Tulsa. Go if you can.

I've only attended once, and that was enough. While there were more double guns than any of the other shows I've gone to in Dallas and Ft. Worth, there weren't enough (for me) to justify the excursion.

YMMV

I've been going for 15+ years to the Spring show and the Fall show when I can fit it in. It's a long drive for me from Milwaukee, but well worth it in my mind. It takes me more than a day to see the entire show (4,100 tables).

It's just my opinion, but while the Tulsa show has a LOT of guns, it can be too big for comfort in one respect. By this I mean, you must walk in with an idea of what you want and what you want to spend. Then, when you see it (and chances are 90% that you will) you must buy it right then. If the gun is worth buying at all, I've found that it's often gone by the time you peruse the rest of the show, and return to make a deal. It's happened to me more than a few times. Also... because Tulsa is "the show" of the season, don't expect bargain prices.

Still the show is well worth attending if you can make it.

My favorite memory of the Tulsa show is watching Jack Puglisi put high grade shotguns, like a Parker AAH, in soft cases and stack them like cordwood on a cart at the end of the show.

Just go! If you are into firearms of any kind, you'll love it and talk about it for months. Even more true if it's your first time.

Take a notepad so you can write down the location of any table you want to come back to. You won't be able to remember otherwise - learned that the hard way. Oh, and plan your bathroom breaks in advance as there will be lines to use the toilets.
