The new case colors turned out great, the damascus pattern on the barrels looks great, the blacked bits are great, and the wood looks good to me. So what if the wood finish is a bit different than the factory would have done it? If that finish is what you wanted, I applaud your efforts. Like others here, I look forward to your postings, and have learned from you. Keep it coming. I think you could market a bound book of your "before" and "after" accounts with your photos. I would buy a copy. Larry
