Clearly not a money making project some would say, but to me these guns are pieces of mechanical art from an age long past and after I am gone someone else will hopefully gain enjoyment from holding it as much as I do. Exactly. You didn't go at it to make money, so who cares? You have a real heirloom-quality piece that is of impeccable execution. That gun could easily exceed its cost someday. I love it. JR

I recently also paid a ridiculous price to Doug Turnbull for coloring my Parker receiver, but I am quite happy with it. It was a hard nut to crack, though.
