Geno,
This is surely an interesting triplet, but overpriced IMO.
With kind regards,

I don't think so. Nowotny was Lebeda successor and the man number two after him in Prague. I wonder how little known about Nowotny in Europe. His duel pistols in box with tools of his early work are worth thousand of $$$. He was very popular high regarded gunmaker in pre-war-I Russia.

Geno,
I know about Nowotny. I even have an old Nowotny catalog somewhere. He was well regarded "here" in Austria-Hungary as well. In fact he was considered one of the best.
My opinion is based on used gun market in central Europe. It may well be worth more in Russia, I do not have any reason to question your opinion, which I respect.
With kind regards,
Jani

Interesting configuration... I remember a M. Blum's* article from the early 90's, theoryzing about the ultimate all-around one-size-fits-all ultimate hinting gun you could use on anything from elephant to quail. I think that's exactly what he came up to - two 20 ga. mag shotgun barrells**, one with a rifled choke, over a high-velocity 8mm. I wonder if his theories were based on that particular gun...

** ability to shoot non-tox wasn't a consideration.
