I have been around here long enough to know that pictures are a requirment for value estimates. But I am not looking for specific value just general value.
Saw a DHE 20 in good original condition. Hunted and used with C/C finish mostly gone, barrel blue about 75%, 28" barrels shine inside and ring true, small dent 2" from muzzle, wood has original finish and checkering with some dings and light dents. Just a very honest Parker that was no closet queen.
I usually deal in guns under $1000 and just appreciate the finer stuff but this one might tempt me to pull the pin and spend some extra. The owner is asking $2200 and seeing as how only about 1500 of these were made in 20 gauge it seemed very reasonable to me.
Opinions and comments?

A Parker DHE for $2200? Run, don't walk, and buy it today. It would be difficult to find one under $3.5k, even in the current market.

Wow! Consider yourself extra lucky to have found such a deal.
With or without skeleton buttplate? Pistol or straight grip?

If it is as you describe it, that is not a $2200 expense, but a very good investment. I would personally be unable to shoot the gun for a while because I would have broken my arm reaching for my wallet.
A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

Is this a Parker,or a Parker Repro ? Either way its a deal but something is certainly strange about anyone who would sell a 7-9K Parker for $2200 if its real one.

Capped pistol grip, skeleton butt plate (it is not in great condition from being placed on the ground while hunting?), 26" barrels (not 28" as stated earlier)choked full & Mod., dent is 1/2" from the muzzle. The rest is accurate.

I have a picture from my cell phone if anyone would like to post it for me.

The "book" says it's right.
I place my Parkers on the ground from time to time as the situation dictates (the necessity to drain my bladder with no tree nearby upon which to lean my Parker) but unless that little twenty was stampeded upon it is still worth multiples of the asking price. I'll up George's bid by $500 and give $20 to Dave.

I took several pictures with my cell phone today but I've not been able to get the pics posted even after reading the pic posting primer. They aren't the greatest, but you can see the dogs on each side and the ducks on the bottom. Decent pic of the foreend and release. Screws don't look messed with and they give you a good idea of the condition.
Any generous volunteers to help with posting?
