Hello Jerry,

I would very much appreciate a copy of your loading data also. A WC Scott followed me home not long ago and will be accompanying me to the field next fall. The beast will need to be fed with appropriate low pressure loads. Thanks so much, Don Hansen. dskeeter1@wmbarqmail.com. Thanks agin, Don.

Back with more questions.

I see Clays and Longshot both listed on the spread sheet but NOT with the Federal hull.

Has anyone here sent a load with the FEDERAL hull using these powders to Tom Armbrust for testing?

I have the other powders listed but would like other options as I try to optimize a load.

Thanks!

Yes, I use Longshot in Federal hulls with the 209A primer for my 2-7/8" 10 gauge guns (Lefever C and Darne R-16). Sent my initial load to Tom A and he recommended more Longshot. If you PM me or email, I'll give more details...

Regards

Replied in detail to your email from my current email. Regret had not changed mine on the profile since Compuserve classic died...

Tim,

Read your email. Thanks!

Quick question, the loads you emailed me all appear to be roll crimped. Is that correct?

Best regards,

Mike

PS Are you back in the DC area or still overseas? I will be spending some time in the National Archives over the next few months.

Mike,

Yes, All are roll crimped with an antique British 10 ga. roll crimper. I do have the ones that fit into a drill press, but haven't really seen the need to try them out yet.

Am back in DC and we live six blocks from the Capitol just off Pennsylvania Ave. SE. Would welcome a chance to get you over for dinner. Send an email and I'll reply with home/cell phone numbers.

Regards, Tim
